International Symposium on Fundamental and Applied Sciences (ISFAS) is an international platform for scholars, researchers and practitioners to discuss interdisciplinary research and practices in the fields of Fundamental and Applied Sciences. The conference will be held in Hokkaido, Japan from December 24 - 26, 2024. ISFAS serves as a catalyst for cross-disciplinary dialogues, recognizing that the intersection of Fundamental and Applied Sciences unveils new dimensions of understanding. We are thrilled to announce a special session entitled "Exploring Conscious AI : Ethical and Cognitive Dimensions," which will delve into the multifaceted aspects of conscious artificial intelligence (AI). This session aims to scrutinize the ethical considerations and cognitive dimensions inherent in the development and implementation of AI systems with consciousness-like attributes. By facilitating in-depth discussions and debates, this session endeavors to broaden our understanding of the ethical implications and cognitive ramifications of conscious AI, thereby charting a path towards responsible and human-centered AI innovation.
